Courtney's Crafty Creations
I love to do projects including making my own cards, scrapbooking and doing projects with my two children and am constantly searching the internet for new ideas. My favorite type of projects are hand and feet projects. My mother in law loves to get tshirts with my girls hand prints on them. So I have created this site to help share some of my own designs and some that I have found on the internet from other moms like me. I hope you enjoy!

Santa Christmas Ornament
I found this cute idea on Dailycraft.com. You take an ornament (Michael's $3.99) and take strips of construction paper (red) wrap it around a pencil to curl it and stuff it inside the ornament (Santa's belly) then take felt and cut it into the shape of a belt to wrap around the ornament. I used hot glue gun and then cut out a yellow belt buckle out of yellow felt then I used glitter glue and wrote Santa and sprinkled glitter on top of it. Then I dabbed a paintbrush in glue and then in sprinkles and swirled it around the ornament to create a snow effect. They turned out adorably

Christmas Ornaments
I decided I wanted to have something special to do with the girls each year besides our usual Christmas traditions. I decided to create a "time capsule" of each year by taking some of my favorite pictures from the year and shrinking them on my printer. I put snow fluff (Michael's $3.99) in each ornament bulb them filled it with the pictures I chose. Then I cut ribbon into pieces and stuffed it in each ornament along with little embellishments. I used tiny lights, bells, stars, buttons, gems and ect. Then I decorated the outside of each ornament with ribbon and snowflakes and added the year in glitter glue. I liked them so much I went back and did one for each year since Ronnie and I got married. Now, the girls and I have special tradition and I will be able to fill my Christmas tree with memories.
